The answers to today’s Strands, game #351, are:

  • LEMON
  • CANARY
  • GOLDENROD
  • MUSTARD
  • SAFFRON
  • DAFFODIL
  • SPANGRAM: YELLOW

  • My rating: Easy
  • My score: 1 hint

I needed a hint to get started today, but once I grasped that the color we were aiming for was YELLOW, it became smooth sailing until the final word. One could argue that SAFFRON leans towards orange, but its classification as both orange and yellow is still contested. On the other hand, GOLDENROD was an unfamiliar shade for me. According to various sources, it derives its name from the goldenrod flower, symbolizing warmth and natural beauty.
